Congratulations to the Women’s V8 for their third place finish at today’s NIRC.  A blazing fast 6:28 was 1 second behind Ithaca, and only 4 seconds behind Gold Medalist Bates.  Bates’ 6:24 set a course record for a women’s boat racing at Lake Quinsigamond.  Combined with our 2V8s 7th place finish we believe this team performance will be enough to earn a bid to this year’s NCAAs.  Stay tuned.  Selection show scheduled for MONDAY at 7PM.   I will post more later this weekend.

The skill & dedication of the coaching staff and the hard work & commitment of the oarsmen & women was evident as the day unfolded. It is gratifying to see the arc of transformation of WPI crew from its humble beginnings to this most auspicious performance. We thank you and look forward to the next chapter in this story.
