The WPI MV8 broke into fours to race Bates, Conn and Hamilton today and won both heats. The two fours won in close times of 6:44 and 6:45 with Bates two seconds behind in the first heat but Hamilton edging out Bates for second place in the second heat 6:52 to 6:53. We will race Bates again in the eight next week.
The M2V8 finished second to Bates but beat Hamilton by a second. The M3V8 won their race nipping Bates by a second.
The women’s V8 advanced to the final but finished fourth, 12 seconds behind Bates who won with Hamilton second and Pacific Lutheran third.
Donahue Cups next Sat and Bates and RIT on Sunday.
Hopefully, the weather warms up and the wind slows down this week!
